If your brakes are making noise you could already be doing damage too the rotors or not. Take it to a shop and get your brakes fixed, Just imagine you not having brakes one day its not worth the risk.

You have no more time. They need to be replaced now.

Cost can be all over the place. Brake jobs are labor intensive - the more work that needs to be done, the more expensive it is. Budget $300-500 at a minimum and adjust from there. Could be really expensive so be ready for that bill.
what noise? grinding? ??? you are wrecking the rotors...only takes a day or 2 to distroy them..
if they making a sound then time is now longer you driv eit more it cost to repair them

type into search box

how to check brake pads

how to replace brake pads

wil save you a lot

knowing how much pad is left type how to check brake pads getting them replace before they make a noise

how to replace brake pads can learn how to do it yourself 35 bucks front or rear drive til you hear or feel it might mess up brake rotors and cost you more to replace rotor prices vary 15 buck to 100 and shops charge different about 100 to 500 depending on how long you go with bad pads can call any parts store ask how much brake pads are for your car can call any local shop to get a brake job price for just pads and to have rotors turn if they have to replace rotors that wil rise price of job by couple 100 bucks or more
it sounds like the wear sensor is hittin the rotor....you need to change them soon....you may have to replace the rotor.....or have it turned down.....if you can do it yourself then its not all the expensive...brakes for my car are 20.00 a set...and a rotor cost me 13.00 dollars each....i could have had my rotors turned but that would cost me 10.00 dollars each plus i had to wait till the next day....most auto stores turn your rotors for a fee....
if its just the breaks and nothing else there pretty easy to replace, and if you know someone that has done them before and knows how to put them in then its not that spendy, and not that hard to do. you can go to any auto store and get a set of breaks for 30 bucks or so depending on if its the front or the back, the noise you hear I call it the squeekers its a prewarning letting you know they need to be replaced, so you should get em done soon or you will damage your rotors.
you have a little time left but don,t put it off too long. that,s a squealer you hear and it,s reminding you to get the pads changed. when you hear the squealer you still have a little pad left but no too much. get them changed right now or you will be buying new rotors.
