If your car does this when you slow down from 50 or more, make absolutely sure that you indeed have new brakes. The guy you took it to may have just lathed them, and if discs' are lathed too thin, they will heat up and warp very easily and cause excessive trembling (I've had the same problem). Also, if you have anti-lock brakes, they can cause a %26quot;tremble%26quot; feeling when you are hard on the brakes, but this would be normal.

If the car does it when your just driving/cruising, then you want to make sure the bolts on the tires are bolted on to the correct amount of torque (over-torquing can warp the discs). You also want to make sure that they didn't accidentally knock a weight off of one of the wheels. Missing 1 or 2 grams of weight on a tire can make a big difference.

This isnt right --- take it back and have the mechanic recheck his work --- Are the wheels bolted back on tight - seriously - this does happen --- Have the mechanic check to see if the calipers are sticking -- this sometimes can cause this problem...
Its probably your tires or you need an alignment
Take it to a professional who knows what they are doing. Either someone did it incorrectly or something was broken during the repair. Get a second opinion before this brake job cost you your savings.
