Leaking brake fluid after changing rotors and brakes?

My husband recently changed his front rotors and brake pads and now there is brake fluid leaking out of his car. He isn't a mechanic, he just did them by fallowing the instructions in the book for his car. Can anyone give me any tips as to why this may be happeneding %26amp; what to do? Thanks.

Check his brake lines and the rotors for leakage

I bet when he took the caliper off he just let it hang by the brake lines. It probably ripped one of them. Only time you would come in contact with the brake lines while changing rotors/pads.
Yes, brake lines are not connected. When he presses on gas i bet it goes easily to the floor. Meaning that no pressure is being created. Also he should make sure the brake lines are tighten and not leaking if not fully connected.
it would help if he said where exactly the fluid is coming from.
If he pushed the calipers in without opening the bleeders he forced the fluid back to the reservoir and it may have over flowed. By not opening the bleeder you force sediment into the proportioning valve or EBCM and potentially cause expensive problems.
Since it's like, you know, brakes stop the car and everything, maybe it's time to let a pro look at them quickly before you run over a baby in a carriage or hit a guy on a bike or something. I'm just sayin..... I read a book on how the Space Shuttle is built but I still wouldn't try to fix one.
