How much is labor to change the brakes on a car if you.......?
some shops wont even touch it



some of their profit is from parts mark up,



would you feel safe driving, after you told the mechanic in advance that you werent going to pay full price



The mechanic is an educated person earning a living, unless you want to learn his craft and do it yourself, pay the man for having learned it for you, so you wont have to bother with it

shop labor at an hour per wheel is what they charge. they typically give a mechanic an hour per wheel. however that varies now days. basically if they give an hour per wheel you're paying 4 hours labor for a 1-1 1/2 hour job. but that's the way it works.

labor is i think .8 a axel also from reading ur addition details rude if the mechanic didn't look over the car and RECCOMEND servic and something happends to car or u then what would u say those guy r doing their job and making sure ur safe u should be thanking them i understand the money thing but safty is safty
