I drive an automatic 2001 VW Golf GL. When on the road, my car sometimes does this thing where it feels like I am shifting gears (as if I were driving a stick shift) or driving on neutral (which I am not). It happens when I'm driving it, not when I'm in the process of braking. Does any one know what can be wrong with it? Thank you.
