My brakes on my car are wore completly out?

what could happen if i wait to change them? they have been this way for about two weeks.

If you wait too long, they will wear out your rotors, and you'll have to replace those too. See if you can find someone you know to put them on for you, and you'll save yourself some money. Don't wait too long, or you'll be paying more!

you could damage rotors and your calipers would be less expensive to just change the brakes.
You'll scrape up the rotors, possibly to the point where they would have to be replaced. In the rear, if they're drum brakes, there's a possibility that the shoes could wear down so much that the piston in the wheel cylinder will extend too far and pop out a bit, leading to a big loss of braking power. If you absolutely need to wait to change your brakes (I've been in that situation), just give yourself lots of time to slow down, try to let the car slow down on its own, and downshift the transmission if you have to.
You could completely lose your braking ability. DO NOT drive the car till you get your brakes fixed. The car is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE and could result in an accident that can injure or kill someone. Do you want that on your conscience? Spend the money and get them fixed pronto.
if you keep riding on them its going to mess up your rotors and drums if they arent allready i would get them changed asap either go to a shop do it youself but if you do your gonna have to get a cliper to check your rotors or drums to make sure they arent too thin and if there is in big gouges or scratches in them take them to a shop to get them turned and smoothed out if there is enough metal if you look at them and they are faily smooth without alot of gouging in them just replace your shoes or pads. a disk break is much easier then a drum so depending on what you have get the right manual on how to dissasemble and replace. and if you disconnect the break line be sure to bleed it to get any air bubbles out otherwise stopping will be a big problem so be very carefull if you need to disconnect completely i find it easier to go not disconnect and then push the pressure plate back in with a c clamp
First you wear through the pads. The metal backing will then press against the rotor. You will ruin the rotor. Then when you wear through the metal backing, the piston will press up against the rotor. When the piston wears enough, it will pop out and lock up the wheel.
I addition to destroying your rotors , you could have a wheel lock up if it wears out and a caliper piston pops out . Then you will be buying new calipers too. As well as being stuck.
Safety Issue; Ignore it and You could cause great Harm,
