How to change brakes on a 2000 Chevy Cavalier?

Alright so my friend wants me to change his brakes for him to save him some money. I have done this before on a 96 beretta and 2000 bonneville but i was just wondering if anyone had tips for me before i start tearing into it. I am very mechanically inclined so fixing cars comes easy for me but i just though i would ask to be safe.

If your just doing the pads, it is simple. Remove the tire, unbolt the caliper. Remove the old pads. Use one of the old pads and a c-clamp to compress the piston(s). Spray down the new pads with brake cleaner, allow to dry. Don't wipe with a rag. Insert the pads into the caliper, attach supplied hardware with the new pads. Re-install the caliper over the rotor, replace the bolts. (before you compress the piston(s), remove the cap from the master cylinder) fill the master to the full level, replace cap, pump slowly till you have a high pedal. Replace tire. Note: If you don't open the break lines, there is no need to bleed the brakes.

i,ll tell you the easy way of doing it. jack up both sides, take off the wheels and drums if it has shoes, then if you get stuck you can always go to the other side and look at it.
